I have pushed The Frog even further since the last run.
This time, I focused on a complete suspension overhaul.
My goal was to beat the previous record of 32.3 km/h.
Front Suspension: Oil Damper Conversion

I started by converting the front to an oil damper setup.
I used an aluminum shock plate found on Amazon.
For the shocks, I reused the Eagle Model set (GHOPPER-11) previously purchased for my Grasshopper.
Repurposing parts is a great way to optimize the build.

The front now utilizes DT-04 lower arms.
I also performed a 12mm hex hub conversion for the front wheels.
For tires, I chose Soft Wide Grooved Tires (OP.1284).
The black Astute front wheels give it a sharp, modern look.

For the installation of the lower arms, I utilized Kyosho suspension shafts.
I carefully adjusted the clearance with spacers.

Rear Upgrades and Wide Tread Conversion

For the rear, I installed Tamiya CVA Damper Mini (SP.519).
These were mounted securely using aluminum shock plates.

I also updated the rear wheels and tires.
I chose black Kyosho Scorpion 2.2″ wheels for a wider tread.
This significantly improved high-speed stability.
Run Results: A New Record!
The car now handles bumps smoothly and accelerates with confidence.
Here are the long-awaited results from the CYCPLUS speedometer.

The result: **34.3 km/h**, successfully beating our previous record!
The suspension modifications clearly paid off.
The added stability allowed for full-throttle confidence.
Conclusion
The oil damper and wide tread conversion were highly effective.
I will continue to refine The Frog for even better performance.
Stay tuned for the next update!
