Following up on my previous speed test, I aimed for a new personal best.
This time, I’ve implemented major upgrades to the suspension and power unit.
The Frog has officially entered a new dimension of speed.

Drivetrain and Suspension Upgrades
To handle the increased power, I first focused on drivetrain reliability.

These prevent dogbones from popping out and improve drivetrain efficiency.
Next, I overhauled the rear oil dampers.

The high-capacity big bore shocks significantly improved stability on rough surfaces.
Installing the Yokomo Brushless System
The highlight of this build is the conversion to a brushless power unit.

You can check the detailed review of this ESC here.
For the motor, I went with Yokomo’s latest high-torque model.

Full specs of this motor are available in this previous post.
Speed Run: Breaking the Barrier
I performed a full-throttle speed run on a long straight at the park.

This shatters my previous record of 34.3 km/h!
The acceleration of the brushless system is truly breathtaking.
The car remained stable even at peak velocity thanks to the suspension mods.
Conclusion
This round of customization was a huge success.
The Frog continues to impress me with its hidden potential.
I’ll keep refining this legendary buggy to see how much faster it can go!
