Following up on my previous speed test, I’ve implemented new updates.
I finally hit the milestone of 50 km/h with my Grasshopper!
Here are the details of the setup and the test results.
Swapping to Blitzer Beetle Tires and Wheels
I’ve made a significant change to the tires.
Both front and rear tires were swapped with those from the Blitzer Beetle.

The Impact of Tire Gluing on Top Speed
I made a crucial discovery during this test.
The day before, I tested the car with unglued tires, reaching only 44.3 km/h.
At high speeds, ensuring the tires are securely fixed to the rims is essential.
After gluing the tires, the performance improved dramatically.
Test Results: Breaking the 50 km/h Barrier!
The result: A magnificent **50.0 km/h**!
I successfully beat my previous personal best of 45.4 km/h with the original gearbox.
Conclusion: The Race to 51.2 km/h
Previously, I reached 51.2 km/h using a DT-04 gearbox conversion.
My current goal is to surpass that record using the original Grasshopper gearbox.
